Who we are

Riverview Food Mart is a family-owned convenience store at 12502 Balm Riverview Road, Riverview, Florida. Serving the Riverview community since 1995. Inside the same building, our specialty section operates as Riverview Smoke Mart — a curated counter for kratom, kava, vapes, Delta-8, and CBD products.

One store. One register. Two ways to think about what we do. To the person grabbing an energy drink and a bag of chips at 7 a.m., we're a convenience store. To the person stopping by at 1 a.m. for kratom and a Geek Bar, we're a specialty smoke shop. Both customers get the same staff, the same prices on shared items, and the same hours: every hour, every day.

We've been on Balm Riverview Road for three decades. We watched this stretch grow from quiet road to a commercial corridor with chain stores on every corner. The chains came and the chains will keep coming — and we're still the place regulars drive past them to reach.

Names you might have seen

Long-time customers may know this store by a few different names that have appeared on signs and online listings over the years. To clear it up:

• Riverview Food Mart — our current name. The one you'll see on the sign outside.
• Riverview Smoke Mart — the specialty counter inside. Same building, same family.
• Prime Time Food — a previous name still appearing on some Google listings. Same store, same family. We're working on cleaning up the listing — bear with us.

What we believe

Local beats corporate.

Three chain convenience stores have opened within two miles of us in recent years. We're still here. Not because we're bigger or have a better marketing budget — we don't. We're still here because we know what they can't do. Corporate policy can't replicate "Bill knows your usual." A planogram can't replicate stocking the kratom strain that one regular asked for. A national app can't replace the staff member who'll walk you through what Delta-8 is the first time you ask.

Open means open.

We don't close for shift changes. We don't reduce hours on holidays. We don't have corporate Sunday-morning policies. The doors are unlocked at 3 a.m. on Christmas Eve the same as they are at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday.

Specialty means staffed.

The smoke shops in this area that sell kratom and Delta-8 are great destinations — and they often have specialists behind their counter. The gas stations carry the products too, but the cashier usually can't tell you the difference between Red Bali and Green Maeng Da. We aim for the middle: convenience-store speed, smoke-shop knowledge. Every shift gets trained on every product on the specialty counter.

Honest pricing.

We're not the cheapest store on Balm Riverview Road and we're not trying to be. We price for regulars, not tourists. If you ever feel surprised by a charge at the register, ask us about it. We'd rather catch a mistake than lose a customer.
